Dick Studdard - I have been riding for over 44 years and have ridden over one million miles on motorcycles. I have been on the scene of many motorcycle accidents as a LAPD motorcycle officer and Sergeant. One thing that I would ask myself is how could this accident been prevented? The next question is, what could the rider have done to avoid this accident? The answer in most cases, the rider could have prevented this accident by practicing what he was taught in the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) Rider Education Program. We also make motorists aware of the motorcycle rider. This is an education program that could prevent a major number of motorcycle accidents. |
